Small Town Adventures - Blue Grass Jam

Found myself sitting on a paint bucket last weekend in an old attic listening to an eclectic group of musicians improvising blue grass music... the moment was a unique mixture of beautiful simplicity and extreme talent. 

Thick southern drawls, friendly strangers and cute little old ladies behind the food counter reminded me that there is so much to see and learn no matter where you travel, and that some of the most beautiful times in life are those that are seemingly the most casual and simple.

Sometimes you just need to go on a walk by yourself... and hum and take hundreds of pictures of flowers!

Butterfly Observatory

Getting to see a butterfly emerge from it's cocoon it one of the most amazing experiences! 

   

We could have easily spent all day at the butterfly observatory... just sitting there, watching in awe!
